A VIRTUAL SERVICE FOR LUXURY SHOPPERS

When you think Westfield, maybe you think mainstream clothing, big cinema, all the food options and depleted new parents pushing buggy’s. But do you think luxury fashion?

The Village in Westfield White City is a luxury destination with low awareness amongst HNWI and premium shopping tourists. From Gucci to Vuitton & Burberry, it has a world class offer yet little consideration compared to other luxury department stores in London. For many HNWI and shopping tourists, a trip to the arse end of the central line is just too far. So we brought Westfield to them.

In partnership with London’s most fashionable hotel The Sanderson, we launched ‘Room Service Retail’ at London Fashion Week. An exclusive styling and shopping service for HNWI and shopping tourists. Using an interactive mirror in their suite, guests could speak to stylists and have access to an advanced search tool which catalogued pieces from Westfield’s retailers. 90min delivery dropped items straight to their wardrobe where guests kept what they wanted (charge to room) and left the rest for concierge to collect the following day.

The activation saw a significant uplift in sales and consideration from the HNWI target audience, was a data capture dream and gained a disproportionate amount of earned media during London Fashion Week.
